A mechanical Engineer by profession who completed his bachelor degree at Feati University is the eldest child of poor but industrious spouses who hails in Samal, Bataan. Eng'r. RODRIGO R. DE GUIA, who is fondly  called " Rod". He believed the value of education as a mere Messenger  until he finds employment from private and government sector as a clerk. From then, he rose from he ranks and was promoted as  production Manager of a semi-conducter firm. After working so much,  Rod has finally finds his way to settle down his own family with a bank manager whom they are blessed with four(4) children.

Early on his college days, the founder has shown interest in putting up his own business.He acquainted himself with various businessmen and was able to penetrate more on brokers in preparation for his projected company's import and export requirements. Business minded her was, Rod saw the ever-increasing and vast potential of cargo  forwarding joined the industry.With the meager resources, the founder then established  a company now know as " REDGOLD FORWARDER, INC."

It was not an easy start. REDGOLD was initially  housed in a small rented space. The founder's wife Caferina, has to give up her position a Branch Manager in a bank to join the newly set up company while her sister Teresita and other family members pitched  in with odd chores.  Leaning towards growth, Rod never hesitated  to be a delivery driver even then he was the founding President of the company. Patience and hardwork have to reap its toil and in a short time, the company served and will continue serving numerous clients moving and handling vouminous cargoes countrywide.

Indeed, the founder is a businessman and a civic leader.He spares his precious time in religious and civic activities. He was a past President of Rotary Club of Pasig North (RY1997-1998) apart from being a member of the MAter dei Marriage Encounter.

In 1978, the industry of forwarding is not as difficult space when REDGOLD FORWARDERS, INCORPORATED(RFI) was etablished. At that time, the word logistics is a familiar word confined to a military maneuvers and tactics. Having started life as a conventional forwarder, REDGOLD now has deversified and spans to three major sectors which forwarding, logistics and warehousing.

For almost four decades, it has been an exciting one for REDGOLD and the management team hope that the next years  will exceed all our business expectations. Their preparations and understanding that no one knows what the business in the future holds on but to remain on top of it sets indentity apart  from the mediocre companies.

We believe that we are indeed 37 years young. We are young, we are vibrant, and we are responsive and fast enough to meet the challengesof the ever-changing business setings and fulfilling the different demands of our clients. We aim to be a long term player, to continue enhancing customer's relationship as well as soliciting new ones.

Listening to our customers needs opted us to integrate all cores of services and thuas enabling us to respond to customer's requirements on the dot. with a network of 19 branches and service partners nationwide, 18 warehouse facilities, a delivery fleet of close to 100 vehicles, a few thousands  of customers and almost 4 decades  of experience, there can be only one redgold Forwarder, Inc.
